On a rather complex plot\u2014on a corner, with level differences of more than three meters and set back from the sea, although (as we guessed) still visible between the hills\u2014I asked our clients:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you expect from your future home?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to see the sea.\u201d<\/p>\n

This was the foundation on which the house was built.<\/p>\n

After several on-site studies and large-scale plans, we were able to determine the ideal position for the house, as well as the need to build higher, the exact placement of the windows, their shapes, and angles.\nTogether with the program requirements, site characteristics, regulations, and light study, these were the ingredients that defined the house\u2019s distinctive form.<\/p>\n

The layout is developed in a fully functional way: two prisms\u2014one for the entrance, with a corridor giving access to stairs, bathrooms, and bedrooms; and another housing the kitchen, dining room, and living area.\nThe kitchen, dining, and living areas open to the south, leading to a terrace with a pool, with sea views to the east, sun to the south, and Moj\u00e1car with its mountain to the west.<\/p>\n

The three corner windows, corresponding to the bedrooms, are oriented east and south to capture sunlight and sea views. The north side is reserved for stairs and bathrooms.\nFrom every interior perspective, a window has been placed at the end of each space, not to cut off the views but to extend them beyond the house.<\/p>\n

Finally, the garage and a small guest apartment are located below.\nThe result is a home tailored to our clients\u2014functional, adapted to the environment and the plot, full of natural light and ventilation\u2014seeking to integrate with and respect Moj\u00e1car\u2019s characteristic fragmented architecture, while also presenting a modern and forward-looking image of it.<\/p>\n

Proyecto de siete viviendas para ancianos que buscan dejar sus grandes casas por otras m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as donde poder manejarse y mantener mejor. Las exigencias son claras: una sola planta, espacio de acceso, y dos dormitorios con ba\u00f1os y v\u00e1ter separados.<\/p>\n

Se propone un sistema de viviendas pareadas con un total de 90 m2 construidos opt\u00e1ndose, en contra de la petici\u00f3n inicial, por un sistema de cubierta plana con el fin de facilitar un sistema de lucernarios que iluminen los cuatro habit\u00e1culos que conforman los ba\u00f1os.
