On the promenade of Garrucha Marina, near the area where large ships are loaded, it was decided to replace an old portable office with a shipping container to serve as a bar.

A second-hand container was purchased, a design was developed studying its different possibilities, and the necessary interventions were carried out to adapt it to its new function and to comply with regulations.

Hydraulic motors were installed to allow the doors to open vertically, so that they could also serve as a roof, extending the small interior space outward, blurring its boundaries and inviting passersby to sit on its terrace.

Finally, a staircase was added to access the container’s roof, offering some of the best views of the entire Garrucha Marina.
