A project of seven homes for elderly people looking to leave their large houses for smaller ones where they can move around more easily and maintain them better. The requirements are clear: a single floor, an entrance area, and two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and toilets.

A system of semi-detached houses with a total of 90 m² each is proposed. Contrary to the initial request, a flat roof system was chosen to facilitate skylights that illuminate the four spaces forming the bathrooms. The result is homes flooded with natural light from both the sides and above, playing with different heights and façade alignments, taking advantage of the street’s slope to create interesting rhythms and pleasant, attractive outdoor spaces.
